Nice, quiet hotel in a pretty village near Aachen. (half an hour driving) Good breakfast and even better dinner at a reasonable price. The staff was kind and helpful. Would stay here again.

We had an apartment and it was very large and comfortable for our family of four. The room was clean and quiet. We did not use the spa or restaurant, so we cannot comment on any of the other facilities.

Nestled in the hills, the hotel has picturesque walking trails around. The lobby area is well-decorated and has ambient music. Rooms come with radiators that keep you comfortably warm. One can feel relaxed in the sauna and pool area. However, expect to pay additional charges for bathrobes and Wi-Fi.

Breakfast is not included in the already high price.

Staff very friendly and approachable and service very good. Food was very good. Unlike some others who have reviewed the hotel, I did not find the decor or facilities particularly old fashioned or out of date - compared to many British hotels, the place is positively modern! It is clean, warm and comfortable and certainly rustically charming. Unfortunately, I did not take up the invitation to use the sauna and swim naked in the pool, so cannot comment on these facilities! This is all very discreet, by the way, so no one should be worried that they will be confronted by a hoard of nudists!

The only thing that annoyed me was the lack of parking near to the hotel. I had to park about 100 yds up the road. Not a problem in the summer but it was tipping it down when I arrived, so after a long drive up from Stuttgart I was already in a bad mood and not feeling generous! The warm welcome changed that though.

Excellent facilities and delicious food. The hotel's central location provided the perfect base for exploring the surrounding countryside. The staff was very enthusiastic and helpful, ensuring that our stay was both enjoyable and memorable.

While some staff members were very helpful, others showed disregard for our requests. the room we stayed in lacked sufficient furnishings, making it feel quite empty.

A very friendly staff in a small village with all expected services. Restaurant with extended hours. A bit difficut to find from the Autobahns, but not a real concern

Fewer non German tv stations than one would like (but there are some) . Most guests are likley here for the National Park and its resources or the hotels health spa, so the tv issue is very small.

I had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the hotel facilities were top-notch. The parking was convenient, and the location by the beautiful forest made for a peaceful and serene atmosphere. I also appreciated that it was near the town center, providing easy access to everything. The breakfast spread was delicious, and the staff were friendly and attentive. this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way.

We spent our Christmas holidays in this beautiful hotel surrounded by breathtaking nature. The spa facilities were top-notch and perfect for relaxing after a long day of hiking in the woods. The staff was also very friendly and always ready to help with all our needs. the food served in the restaurant was exquisite, with a variety of local dishes served to perfection. The location was also perfect for exploring the nearby towns and villages, with easy access to public transportation.

We found it a bit expensive as we had to pay extra for the spa facilities and other activities in the hotel. , the bathroom in our room was outdated and could use some renovation.

Kind staff.. Good facilities, Sauna at good temperature. And the swimmingpool was not too hot to swim.The breakfast was excellent.

Nice, traditionally furnished hotel located in a very quiet, natural area. The wellness center provided perfect relaxing conditions. The personnel, especially at breakfast, was very kind. Rich breakfast buffet.

The lack of proper shampoo and shower gel and as others have mentioned, the pillows are way too soft. Also would be a nice touch to have a little coffee and tea in the room since they provide a coffee maker!
